Prayers lighting the Advent candles (Advent candles should only be lighted on the Sundays of Advent and not weekdays. The wreath should only have four candles, not five. Adding the fifth candle is more an Anglican thing. Its an ADVENT WREATH not an Advent and Christmas wreath. The wreath should not be left on the altar for Christmas as it is in some places. That would be like leaving the statues covered during the Easter Season. The crib replaces the wreath).
